Hysteroscopic Polypectomy
Hysteroscopic polypectomy is an incision-free intervention that safely and accurately removes endometrial polyps causing bleeding and infertility.
Why is removing polyps crucial?
Polyps on the uterine lining act primarily as a mechanical barrier preventing the implantation of a fertilized egg. Hysteroscopic surgery allows entering the cavity under the direct guidance of a camera to smoothly remove the root of the polyp without scraping the healthy wall.
Symptoms of endometrial polyps
- Heavy bleeding of exceptional intensity.
- Pelvic pain resembling abdominal cramps.
- Difficulty conceiving (infertility).
