Removal of Uterine Septum
Uterine shape correction to reduce the risk of recurrent early miscarriages due to altered developmental anatomy.
Septate Uterus
Septums or partitions in the uterus arise due to a developmental error during the fusion of the Müllerian ducts while the female fetus was developing. This results in a partition, varying from partial to completely dividing the uterus.
Surgical removal (Transection)
Hysteroscopic resolution of a septum offers priceless preservation of fertility compared to aggressive past therapies. The camera locates the wall, and fine electricity is used to make an incision dividing the horns, creating a single unified balloon.
